The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Blog | Twitter | Website

Simon & Schuster, 452 pages
Series: Mara Dyer #1
Release Date: September 27, 2011

Mara Dyer doesn’t think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
It can.

She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.
There is.

She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.
She’s wrong.

It is seriously no secret that I absolutely LOVE The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Not only is the cover completely stunning, but the story blew my mind. Now back to the cover... I LOVE the font used for title. Yes, I actually notice fonts. Mara's dress is beautiful, and I love how the cover sets the dark tone of the story.

The photographer of this beautiful cover is Heather Landis. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer's cover is actually part of her series titled Abyss of the Disheartened. Here's a bit of her amazing work:
