Looking Back & Moving Forward

Wednesday, January 1, 2014

It is once again time to look back at the year. This has been quite a year that went by way too fast. I did manage to beat my goal of 110 books with a finishing 112, not including rereads. Honestly I'm amazed I even found that much time to read considering I barely slept.

(find me on goodreads)

One thing I was surprised about was that I didn't attend a lot of events this year. Unless I did and forgot to take pictures. But this year I went to my 3rd Wordstock and a Fierce Reads tour. Something fun I did this year was I got a couple of my friends to dress as Dauntless initiates with me for Halloween.

2014 is the year I'm finally driving! It's also the year I'll finish my junior year and become a senior. That very thought is terrifying at the moment. This year has been a bit rough for blogging since junior year has been kicking my butt, but here's to a new year full of great things.

I wish you all a happy new year! Make good choices, people.

  1. VY. HOW. 112 BOOKS?!? I pulled through with 76 >.< That is so incredible! And girl, I feel you, junior year is butt-kicking year. I'm so happy I was able to make it to Wordstock for those two hours! Hopefully we'll see each other at more book events this year :) Happy New Year! <3

  2. 112 books?! Wow, you go! I only read 43 or something this year, but that was starting in July/August so I don't think that's so bad! 112 is really awesome though. :P

I completely feel you on junior year. It is seriously kicking my butt. I'm nervous about SATs and college applications and just doing well in general. I really cannot wait until senior year when I can lean back and take a breather. Sigh, almost there!

Hope you had a wonderful new year. :)
