Fierce Reads Portland Tour Recap & Giveaway

Saturday, June 8, 2013

On Tuesday was the kick off to the Fierce Reads spring tour at Powell's. I was extremely excited when I was asked to be the designated blogger for this tour stop and had the chance to meet with the authors before hand! The authors on the tour included (from L to R): Jessica Brody author of UnrememberedEmmy Laybourne author of Sky On FireLeigh Bardugo author of Siege and StormAnna Banks author of Of Triton

I had the chance to do an interview with the ladies before the event, and instead of the traditional interview I decided to play a game. The game we played was the I Love Game which was made by The Kloons. Here's how the game went...

"I LOVE" GAME

It was so much fun playing this with the lovely ladies! And thanks to Mel from Novels, News, & Notes for helping me out.

The event itself was fantastic. Candace from Candace's Book Blog was also there, and I sat with Candace, her adorable kids, and Mel, and had such a great time. And there were some great questions that were asked during the event. I was live tweeting the event, sorry if I spammed your timeline, and my favorite tweets included:

Unsure what was asked but...

On the topic of villains, Anna answered:

  20. I'm really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems? A small number of my blog readers have complained about my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?
