Choose: A quick death…Or slow poison…

About to be executed for murder, Yelena is offered an extraordinary reprieve. She'll eat the best meals, have rooms in the palace—and risk assassination by anyone trying to kill the Commander of Ixia.

And so Yelena chooses to become a food taster. But the chief of security, leaving nothing to chance, deliberately feeds her Butterfly's Dust—and only by appearing for her daily antidote will she delay an agonizing death from the poison.

As Yelena tries to escape her new dilemma, disasters keep mounting. Rebels plot to seize Ixia and Yelena develops magical powers she can't control. Her life is threatened again and choices must be made. But this time the outcomes aren't so clear…

I have underestimated how difficult it would be to take independent summer classes. Now I'm frantically trying to finish all of my classes due to my poor planning. I'm very close to finishing up, but it'll still be a month before I'm done. I'll still have posts here and then though!

The "Haunting" of Mara Dyer (Film)

Thursday, August 2, 2012
Michelle Hodkin recently posted a contest to win an ARC of The Evolution of Mara Dyer, and one of the contest categorizes is:
3) Make a video! Like a fan-made book trailer! Or an imaginary casting vid! Or a Lego reenactment! If there are moving pictures, it counts!
I've been wanting to make a video since I've been watching so many Internet Icon episodes that I thought I'd give this a shot. So I casted two of my friends, found a camera, cleaned my room, and BOOM. Video made.

My original idea was to make a horror film, but we couldn't stop laughing when we filmed, so it sort of became a... comedic horror.

I hope you all will enjoy my comedic horror
