Top Ten Tuesday (2): I'd Like To See Be Made Into Movies

Top FIVE Books I'd Like To See Be Made Into Movies:
This is kind of a hard because I haven't read enough books to
actually pick some books out, but here's my top 5 list.

1) Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
This just seems like a fun movie with elegant costumes since it's during the Victorian Era. It is in talks about being made into a movie.

2) Wither by Lauren DeStefano
If they could capture the setting of Wither, that'd be quite a movie.

3) The Demon King by Cinda W. Chima (And series)
OMG! One of my favorite fantasy books! The world of magic and the characters are just amazing and the action would be great on the big screen.

4) Marked by P.C. + Kristin Cast (And Series)
This book was enjoyable but I think this would play out nicely in a movie format even if this is a vampire series.

5) Incarceron by Carherine Fisher
I didn't enjoy the writing as much but the plot was fun! There's a lot of potential for this to be a cool movie with special affects and movie magic. I heard that it's actually going to be made into a movie at the moment too.

What do you think about these books being made into movies? If you also participated in this meme add your link with your comment and I'd love to check it out :)

  1. Clockwork Angel would make a fantastic movie. The steampunk-ness of it could be interesting.
I thought about putting Wither on my list, but I don't know how that one would play out on screen. Fantastic book though.

  2. I've just read one book from your list. I really want to read Wither- I've heard great things about it.

  3. Vy, Clockwork Angel is one of my picks, too! :) I really hope to see it being made into a movie one day!

  4. Incarceron was on my list, too. Like you said, the book was so filled with this kind of complex, technical stuff that it'd probably be visually spectacular. Plus, I'd love to actually see the contrast between this grand Elizabethan facade and the dystopian/steam-and-cyberpunk hybrid world underneath.

  5. Clockwork Angel would be a great movie, and from all I have been reading about Wither, I think that would be awesome too.

  6. I don't think I'd like to see CA movie. :( I love the characters so much, I'm afraid they'd choose the wrong actors. But other than that, I think it'd be a great movie.

  7. I've seen Wither on a few lists and am maybe thinking it would be a good movie now. Though I had such vivid imagery when I was reading I would be afraid the movie would ruin it for me!

  8. I think Clockwork Angel would make a great movie, too. It's so visually appealing, and the costumes would be so much fun.

  9. Oh, wow, I totally agree with you about Incarceron and I still need to read The Demon King (and the other books in the series). :D Thank you for visiting, happy reading!

  10. I agree with The House of the Night series. It made my list too!

  11. I almost put Incarceron on my list, but I ran out of space. ;) I do think it would make a great movie.

  12. 'Clockwork Angel' would be goooood. I bet they will make those books into movies, too. Any of Cassie Clare's book will probably end up as decent movies just because they're so action packed.

'Wither' ... oh heck yah. You're right, though, they need to capture the feel of the setting. If they could do that, though, it would be spooky and totally interesting.

  13. Wither would be hard to make... but if they did it right it would be an awesome movie!

  14. I think wither would be interesting to see, i think it could either go really good or really disturbing so I would like to see how it turns out!
