In My Mailbox (8) - Vlog

Saturday, April 30, 2011

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi from The Story Siren
It gives bloggers a chance to show what book we bought, got, or borrowed this week. All titles are linked to goodreads.

If you survived my whole video you're an amazing person! I promise that my poor attempt at shortening descriptions will get better.

NetGalley: (Penguin Teen and Disney-Hyperion)
Mercy by Rebecca Lim
Girl Wonder by Alexa Martin
Imaginary Girls by Nora Ren Suma
The Gray Wolf Throne by Cinda Williams Chima

Simon & Schuster Galley Grab:
Blood Red Road by Moira Young
Possession by Elana Johnson
Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma

I'm now on Twitter so feel free to follow me @VysBlog.
Also feel free to leave a comment below with a link to your IMM.

  3. Aww, you're so cute!!

I've read Girl Wonder and definitely recommend it! I can't post my review until closer to the pub date, but I did give it a 4 out of 5 :)

This was my first time with Galley Grab, as well. I look forward to more amazing grabs, hehe.

And, the pictures looked nice on the iTouch!

  10. I'm really, really curious about Forbidden. I downloaded it, too, but I'm afraid I'm not going to have time to read it before it expires (which is the thing I really don't like about Galley Grab).
But they all look pretty good this week; hope you enjoy them!

    Here's mine!

  14. First off - thanks for checking out my blog, Readers Unite! Your blog is gorgeous! I'm your newest follower!
Secondly - I think I'll save Forbidden and Blood Red Road until they're released as "physical" books, mostly because I'd like to give them my all, which I can't to completely with my Digital Editions! Do you enjoy actual books more than e-books?

  23. Hi!!!! Great vlog as always. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the books. I've been wanting to read a few of them. Happy reading :)

  24. Hey, Vy, right? (I'm kind of slow, but judging by your blog name, one should assume your name is Vy.) Ahh, I'm still waiting for the okay for IMAGINARY GIRLS and THE GRAY WOLF THRONE. But, we both got GIRL WONDER and MERCY. I hope we both really enjoy 'em!

And I REALLY WANT POSSESSION by Elana Johnson. Sounds fantastic, and you are incredibly lucky! And it would seem you have guts, to take up reading FORBIDDEN. I had my mom read the ending, in case I couldn't handle it (as I'm very, very sensitive) and she nodded a 'no.' I want to read it badly, but I don't think I could take the tear to my heart... Though, enjoy! *lol*

And thanks for stopping by the yesterday!

    Asher K.
