In My Mailbox (5)

Saturday, April 9, 2011

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi from The Story Siren
It gives bloggers a chance to show what book we bought, got, or borrowed this week.
(All titles are linked to goodreads)

I'm now a NetGalley member so I got a few books from there:

Two Moon Princess by Carmen Ferreiro-Esteban
Ultraviolet by RJ Anderson (ARC)
The Magnolia League by Katie Crouch (ARC)
Between Two Ends by David Ward (ARC)

Like always I got a few books from my library:

Evernight by Claudia Gray
Radiant Shadows by Melissa Marr

I also stopped by Barnes & Noble to get:

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

As promised I caught up on my reviews this week:

What do you think of these books? What did you get this week?
Send me a link to your post with your comment and I'd love to check it out.

  16. Yay for joining NetGalley! I am really liking it. I'm looking to hearing your reviews on those (especially Two Moon Princess and The Magnolia League).

I love the Wicked Lovely series! I still need to read the last one. I hope you like Radiant Shadows!

I am going to go to an event with Cassandra Claire on Wednesday and I plan on picking up City of Fallen Angels then. It sounds really good!

  17. Hi Vi, thanks for the follow and for the lovely comment on my blog. Wow, I'm jealous of you that you got The Magnolia League. I was dying to get that one and didn't, think it was because I already have so many they might be afraid I wouldn't get around to it. lol.

But, I did manage to snag Two Moon Princess and Ultraviolet, though right now I'm reading Mercy. It's pretty good so far, another book about a fallen angel.

I really need to start reading the Evernight series. lol. And Blue Moon was pretty good, I need to read Shadowland now. And of course yay for COFA. :)

  20. Hi again. :)

Yeah, so I was reading that you had to buy a book by the author at the event in order to get anything signed (for both authors). It was on these links:
    http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/event/70969
    and
    http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/event/70968

I just realized this yesterday. :/ Good thing I didn't buy them yet!

I think it's neat you are going too! :)

  21. You've got some great looking books there! I need to start on the rest of the Mortal Instruments series, I've only read the first.

I also need to finish up the Wicked Lovely series, I've only read the first of that as well.

Thank you for your comment on my mailbox, I would definitely recommend If I Stay to anybody, but only if you don't mind semi-sad books. It has a pretty good balance of sad and happy, though, so the whole book isn't a mass of sadness lol. But I'd say definitely check it out!
